FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. Wuxi Diesel Engine Plant (hereinafter referred to as "Xichai") is located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, and is a wholly-owned enterprise of China FAW Group Corporation. Founded in 1943, after 70 years of development, the factory now covers an area of 670,000 square meters, with more than 3,500 employees, total assets of 6.35 billion yuan, and brand intangible assets of 10.229 billion yuan. Now it has two major engine bases, engine remanufacturing bases and modified vehicle development bases, forming a production system with international leading equipment, domestic leading management and industry-leading quality, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 diesel engines and 15,000 modified vehicles.

Xichai has a relatively complete product system in China. There are 7 series of engine products, with a displacement spanning 2 to 13 liters and a power range of 40 to 500 horsepower, with the characteristics of "fuel saving, environmental protection and reliability" and "considerate and thoughtful" service, it has become the preferred power for trucks, buses and off-road machinery. The product sales and service network covers the whole country, covering more than 40 countries and regions in Europe and the United States, and the market has more than 2 million units. There are more than 200 varieties of modified cars in 5 series, which are exported to Australia and other countries in batches.
