1881 Heritage

The Victorian-style 1881 Heritage stands out from the crowd of shopping malls in Hong Kong, and it is a heritage site converted from a former Hong Kong Marine Police Headquarters, with a history of more than 120 years. 1881 Heritage consists of a boutique hotel, Hullett House, 7 high-end restaurants, and a number of high-end jewelry, watch, eye, and clothing stores. Although the usable area of the shopping mall is only 13,000 square meters, it is high-end and exquisite.

Created by Cheung Kong Asset Holdings Limited, Hong Kong's largest real estate developer, 1881 Heritage is the first privately owned heritage revitalisation project in Hong Kong. The project began in 2003 and lasted for six years, before being officially opened to the public in 2010 and named "1881 Heritage". The 1881 Historic Site has won the "Best Mixed Use Redevelopment in Hong Kong", "Best Mixed Use Redevelopment in Hong Kong", "Best Redevelopment in Hong Kong", "Best Redevelopment in Asia Pacific, Highest Five-Star Award", "Top 10 Best Experience Marketing Awards in Hong Kong Shopping Malls" and other awards. Today, 1881 Heritage has become a new landmark for tourism, leisure and shopping in Hong Kong.

1881 Heritage在保留历史建筑原貌的同时，注入了新鲜的元素与功能。Piaget、Tiffany&Co.、IWC、NIRAV MODI、Cartier、上海滩、英皇珠宝等顶级珠宝手表品牌云集，占据了商场34%的比例，并且大部分以旗舰店形式经营，尽显高端奢华。王子饭店、Heritage Parlour、凯芸轩、MARINERS’BAY、马堡扒房、Van Gogh SENSES等7间精品餐厅、酒吧分布其中。1881主楼为酒店Hullett House用地，酒店内拥有十间不同主题豪华客房，房间宽敞精致，带给住客舒适的居住体验。当然，穿梭于奢华店铺和餐厅之中，仍然可见这栋百年建筑遗留下的历史痕迹，时间球塔、煤气灯、刻有“印度警察”的门楣等被原样保留，马厩则改造成为餐厅，还有当年的鸽舍、壁炉、枪房保安窗户等等。1881年开设有展览馆，展现了原Hong Kong水警总部的历史及发展，供游客免费参观。

1881 is located on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, just across the street from Harbour City, Hong Kong's largest shopping mall. 1881's mall layout and stores are relatively "biased" and cannot meet the needs of most consumers, but it is worth visiting as one of Hong Kong's luxury shopping malls and tourist attractions.
