Central
Central is the heart of Hong Kong, the political and commercial centre of Hong Kong, home to many banks, multinational financial institutions and foreign consulates. Hong Kong's Central Government Headquarters, the Legislative Council Building, and the former Hong Kong Governor's Office (now known as Government House) are all located here. There is an urban landscape that best reflects Hong Kong's international metropolis, and many of the offices of urban elites portrayed in Hong Kong dramas are in Central.
Mid-levels escalator
The escalator is the main thoroughfare from Central to Mid-Levels, and the journey takes about 20 minutes, allowing you to enter and exit other streets, browse the shopping malls lined with them, or stop at the restaurants. The escalator starts from Rent Bailey Street in Central and passes through Colin Street, Hollywood Road, Shelley Street, Temple Street Morrow, Robinson Street and ends at Conduit Road. In "Chongqing Forest", Tony Leung, who plays the role of a police officer, takes the escalator to work, and the heroine Faye Wong peeps at him from the apartment window, which becomes a classic scene. After Detective Mo reflected on Huihui's discrimination against him for asthma, the two began to play hide and seek, and Huihui walked listlessly on the escalator in the middle of the mountain.
Slate Street
From Hollywood Road to Connaught Road Central, the 150-year-old stone street has button shops, tailor shops, and shoe repair shops along the street, most of which retain the appearance of old green tin houses, which are small and simple, and have become a filming location for films expressing the feelings of old Hong Kong. Films such as "In the Mood for Love", "Dragon and Phoenix Fight", "Lust Caution" and "Infernal Affairs" have been filmed here. The MV of his brother Leslie Cheung's "Who Resonates" was filmed on this path, and the four gas lamps are full of Hong Kong film complexes. In TVB's TV series, falling out of love, getting drunk, falling in love, and telling your heart are all themes on this stone staircase. "The King of Legal Newcomers", "Grievances Should Be Resolved", "Wonderful Hands and Benevolence 1", "Wonderful Hands and Benevolence 3", "Forensic Pioneer 1", "Forensic Pioneer 3", "Years and Years", "Walking with the Enemy" and so on were all filmed here. Next to the stone steps, the world's only Starbucks in the style of an old Hong Kong ice house is open here.
Hollywood Road
Skyscrapers and traffic form the screen impression of Central, but these do not sum up the whole of Central. Wander around Hollywood Road and discover the shocking, interesting, or priceless graffiti art hidden in the streets and alleys, but you may not know that the wall next to you is actually the work of a world-famous artist, and a seemingly casual graffiti work is worth up to a million.
Duddell Street (Gaslight Street)
Duddell Street (Gaslight Street) is located south of Queen's Road Central in Central, Hong Kong, connecting to Ice House Street at the southern end, Central Station Exit G to Queen's Chase Central, and then turn to New World Tower on the left. The stone steps here are made of granite, and four old gas street lamps are installed on the stone pillars at the railings at both ends of the stone steps, which are the only remaining gas street lamps in Hong Kong. After all, "the gas lamp can't help but shadow a pair of earthworms in the street, and a pair of young lovers who are blind date with two hearts...... Now the gas lamp is lit from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and is controlled by an automatic switch, making it more charming to take pictures.
Fringe Club
A three-storey building with red and white stripes at 2 Lower Albert Road, Central, near the south of Sheikchang Street, is the Fringe Club, which was used as an ice store in the early days, mainly for storing food. After being vacant for more than ten years, it was officially converted to art creation and cultural exchange. The old and new Hong Kong dramas of "EU Overtime Mission" will be filmed here. Chi Ming and Chun Jiao's secret back alley is located between Pacific Place in Admiralty and the Queensway Government Offices. The whole street of Portiter Street is paved with stone slabs, and there are tin house grocery stores on both sides of the entrance, which can be traced in "Infernal Affairs", "Dragon and Phoenix Fighting", "Wenque", and "Lust Ring".
Pier 9
An attraction with a very high TVB exit rate. According to TVB's routine, once the hero and heroine in the play appear at this pier, there will be sad things. In "Originally Falling in Love with a Thief", Chen Yulian's husband wants to divorce her. In "Talking about Love", Lin Feng wants to break up with Yang Yi. On the waterfront opposite the IFC, this pier has become a classic pier for undercover joints and couples breaking up in the series.
Star flyover
This flyover located on the west side of Victoria Harbour has appeared in almost all TVB fashion dramas. In "Sister Tuogun", the scene of Xiaosheng putting the cake on the edge of this flyover and silently singing a birthday song for Sister E against the pillar touched countless audiences. It is also an important scene in dramas such as "Wonderful Hands and Benevolence" and "Forensic Pioneer".
Ding-ding car
Central has a centuries-old history and the imprint of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures.
