Yau Ma Tei Police Station

"You have the right not to speak, but every word you say will be a testimony in court!" More than ninety percent of Hong Kong's police and gangster films have been filmed at Yau Ma Tei Police Station, as if there is only one police station in Hong Kong. Gangsters, bosses, prostitutes, and prostitutes are all frequent visitors here, and the famous "anti-gang group" in the police world was originally born here.

Originally built in 1893, this three-storey blue and white semi-circular building is one of the oldest police stations in Hong Kong and is a Grade 3 historic building. In "The Dragon City Years of the Underworld", Ren Dahua went to the Yau Ma Tei Police Station to bail Leung Ka-fai, and he started fighting again after disagreeing; In "Crazy Boy", Chen Haonan was released at the Yau Ma Tei Police Station; In "Half a Cigarette", the young smoker Nicholas Tse coaxes Zeng Zhiwei to look for his beloved woman at the police station; Sister E in "Sister Tuogun" is also on an errand here.

At 6pm on 21 May 2016, the final flag-lowering ceremony was held at the Yau Ma Tei Police Station in Hong Kong. As the longest-serving police station in Kowloon, the Yau Ma Tei Police Station has since been officially closed and is now only used as a reporting centre. Many TVB drama fans in the mainland will come here to check in, which seems to have become a symbol of Hong Kong police films. Hong Kong MTR Yau Ma Tei Station Exit C, along Nathan Road to Wing Sing Lane to Chung Fong Street, turn left at Canton Road Crossing to reach the police station, about 5 minutes walk.
