Beijing embroidery
Beijing embroidery belongs to Beijing women's red handicrafts, and Su, Hunan and Gu are called "four major embroidery". However, Beijing embroidery was actually more deeply influenced by the court, and the square complement on the chest of the Qing Dynasty official uniform was made by the Beijing embroidery process. The pattern elements of traditional Beijing embroidery are mainly auspicious eight treasures, dragons, sea water, and Jiangya, and the colors are mostly black, yellow, red, and blue. Compared with other embroidery, Beijing embroidery pays more attention to auspicious meaning, does not pursue realism, the artistic level is not as good as Suzhou embroidery and Hunan embroidery, and the bottom draft is more different from the south.
