Cuiliu Village Guest House was built in the 50s and has been in operation ever since. The hotel was originally named "Cuiliu Hotel", and once received Dong Biwu, Xu Teli, Xie Jueya, Lin Boqu, Wu Yuzhang and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation, and mathematician Hua Luogeng also stayed in Cuiliu Hotel for a long time when he lectured in Hubei. Cuiliu Hotel closed down in 2010, broke ground and reopened, and reopened in April 2015, and the former director of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress Guan Guangfu named the hotel "Cuiliu Village Guest House". Today's Cuiliu Village Guest House is not only a daily hotel operation, but also an important place for the General Office of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress to receive domestic and foreign guests.

Cuiliu Village Guest House is located in the core area of Wuhan East Lake Ecotourism Zone. Surrounded by lakes on three sides, weeping willows are planted on the shore, lotus flowers are planted in the water, and pavilions and arch bridges are used to create landscaping, especially in spring and summer, and the scenery is excellent. The green area around the hotel is very extensive, coupled with the pleasant scenery and quiet environment, it is the best place for rest and recuperation in Wuhan.

Most resorts are relatively underwhelmed in terms of dining, but the dining at Cuiliu Village Guest House is particularly noteworthy. Zou Zhiping, who serves as the executive chef of the Cuiliu Village Guest House Restaurant, is one of the famous chefs in Hubei. He has been engaged in culinary work for 30 years, under the tutelage of Chinese culinary master Wang Jianguo and China's top ten famous chefs Lu Yongliang, and is now a representative of young and middle-aged Hubei cuisine, a representative of the fourth generation inheritor of the "Wuchang Fish Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage", a national skill master, and enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council. His two cooking items of "Big Knife Quick Killing Eel" and "Orange Petal Fish Fish" have been recognized as "Chinese Cooking Skills", "Yellow Eel with Spicy Sauce" and "Yellow Eel with Chimes" have been recognized as famous Chinese dishes, and more than 30 dishes, including "Chime Deboned Turtle", have been recognized as "Hubei Famous Dishes" and "Jiangcheng Famous Dishes".

Led by Zou Zhiping, the catering team of Cuiliu Village Guest House is the most famous in the city, and even local diners in Wuhan who do not stay in Wuhan will drive to the hotel restaurant to taste it. The all-day dining restaurant in Cuiliu Village Guest House offers a la carte service in addition to a brunch buffet. The à la carte dishes are mainly Hubei cuisine, and the production level is quite high, among them, the fish round lion head and the clear soup peony tofu are the most popular among diners, the fish round lion head is a famous dish inherited by the famous chef Lu Yongliang, and the clear soup peony tofu is carved into a peony flower shape, the shape is very exquisite. What's even more rare is that the per capita consumption of hotel restaurants is about 150-200 yuan, and there is no phenomenon of bullying and stealing customers. 

Compared with the catering in Cuiliu Village, the infrastructure of the hotel is a little ordinary. The hotel has a total of 116 rooms, and the rooms have begun to show signs of disrepair, with water seepage on the walls, outdated room facilities, and unsatisfactory accommodation conditions. There is a gym in the hotel, but it is outsourced, and the facilities, services and fees are difficult to achieve the comfort experience brought by the hotel's own gym. In addition, the hotel service is mediocre, so it is recommended that guests do not need to be too demanding.
