Xinjing is a new mid-to-high-end resort hotel brand in China, although its overall strength is slightly inferior to that of high-end brands such as Banyan Tree and Bailian, it is much higher than most small and medium-sized resort hotels in terms of design, leisure facilities and catering, and its business model is more mature. Opened in 2014, Chongqing Mood Hotel is currently the largest resort hotel in Chongqing, with bamboo and Bayu elements as its architectural features and hot springs as the main leisure project.
Like Banyan Tree and Bailian, Chongqing Mood values the mountain scenery and hot spring resources, and has set the hotel in Jinyun Mountain. The design of the Mood Hotel is not as sophisticated and unique as the two high-end brands, but it is also quite outstanding. The building is built according to the mountain, based on the Tujia stilted building, with a simple and atmospheric appearance of green bamboo walls and green tiles, but the huge building makes the heart view inferior to Banyan Tree in terms of environmental integration. With bamboo as the core element, the hotel is decorated with many bamboo utensils inside, and a large area of bamboo forests is planted outside, and green bamboo corridors are set up, giving it a strong natural atmosphere.
Xinjing Hotel is located in Shili Hot Spring City, which is rich in hot spring resources, and has many types of hot spring pools, and is quite distinctive. The two types of rooms, Soup House and Yuejing Deluxe, have indoor independent pools, and more than 30 outdoor pools are interspersed with bamboo forests. Among the outdoor hot springs, the cave pools and terraced pools are unique to the Mood Hotel, and guests can have a novel hot spring experience. The hot spring pools are creative in design, but they are not well maintained. The cleanliness of outdoor pools and hot springs is not good, and there are problems such as floating objects not being cleaned up in time. The indoor bathing pool is more hygienic, and guests are advised to pay attention to cleaning before bathing.
Chongqing Xinjing is quite large, with a total of 9 buildings, of which 803 rooms are concentrated in Buildings 1-6, Building 7 is the reception hall, and Building 9 is the restaurant, hot spring and treatment center. The huge building accommodates a lot of leisure facilities, such as the "South of Caiyun" SPA, foot bath, tea room, gym, KTV, table tennis billiards, swimming pool, children's playground, etc. Among them, the children's playground has not only large-scale amusement equipment, but also children's theater, children's rock climbing and other facilities, which is very suitable for families who come to vacation. In addition, there are not many dining options in Xinjing Hotel, only two restaurants, Chinese and Western, providing Sichuan, Cantonese, Yunnan and Western cuisine, the standard is average, and it is not recommended.
The Heart View Hotel is close to Banyan Tree in terms of scenery, design and leisure offerings, but not as close as the latter. However, the price is only a quarter of that of Banyan Tree, which is suitable for guests who are looking for a good value for money.
