Opened in 2007, Shangri-La Hotel, Chengdu is the flagship hotel of Shangri-La Group in southwest China. Although new high-end hotels continue to arrive in Chengdu, Shangri-La Hotel, Chengdu is still very popular and often full of rooms.
Entering the hotel is more like an exhibition, which houses works created by nine local artists from Sichuan for Shangri-La Chengdu, including oil paintings, film works and other forms, all placed in the public areas of the hotel. The hotel has a grand ballroom with an area of 2,100 square meters and a ceiling height of 9 meters, one of the largest in the city, in addition to 15 function rooms and 1 studio to choose from. The hotel also has a banquet planner to provide event planning services for guests.
