Joy Hostel is located in the heart of Yau Ma Tei, next to Temple Street and close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, making it very convenient for travelling and foraging. Originally known as Yongxing Hotel, Joy Hostel Yau Ma Tei was taken over by Joy at the end of 2015 and renovated to provide a convenient and comfortable accommodation environment for travelers from all over the world.
Joy Youth Hostel retains most of the room settings of the original Yongxing Hotel, providing 56 rooms, in addition to standard 4-person mixed dormitory, 4-person female dormitory and 8-person mixed dormitory, it is also equipped with standard single, double, triple and quadruple standard rooms, which can be booked on a room-by-room basis. The room is smaller, the double room is less than 10 square meters, but fortunately, the room is decorated in a simple style, with a fruity green floor and bed sheets of the same color, which is bright and tidy in a small space, and will not bring a sense of clutter. Each room has a toilet and bathroom, and the wet and dry are separated. The space is maximized, and the small rooms are equipped with lockers for easy storage. The socket in the room is equipped with a USB port, so there is no need to worry about the converter.
The highest room is on the 25th floor, with a wide overall view, overlooking the night market. Although it is located in the downtown area, it has good sound insulation and is not noisy to rest at night. To enter the elevator, you need to swipe the card according to the room by floor, and the security is higher. The lobby reception also offers recreational facilities such as billiards, games and other entertainment, as well as the ability to prepare your own food for gatherings. Inns lacks a personal touch, but there is no compromise on the basics, including free Wi-Fi, free luggage storage, and disabled facilities for guests with reduced mobility.
The biggest advantage of Joy Youth Hostel is its location, whether it is to go to Temple Street to find food and explore the night market culture, or take the subway to Tsim Sha Tsui, Central and other places to start shopping mode, it is very convenient, plus the nearby Yau Ma Tei Police Station, Tin Hau Temple and other tourist check-in places, living in Joy has solved the problem of a lot of travel turnover. However, it is not recommended to book a double or single room in Pleasant Sys, the room is too small and the configuration is generally not cost-effective. Comparatively, Prance is more suitable for 3 or 4 people to book a room.
Apart from Yau Ma Tei, Causeway Bay also has Les H'S Youth Hostel, which is also centrally located. There are also serviced apartments in Tsim Sha Tsui, Tai Kok Tsui and Fortress Hill.
