Xinglan Studio-Institutional Reviews

Founded in 2008, Xinglan Photography was invited to shoot the 2017 Shanghai Victoria's Secret show, as the only studio that uses the Swedish Hasselblad camera system and is equipped with Swiss Brown lighting, and is led by two Hasselblad masters and Brown masters, Xinglan enjoys a high reputation in the industry. Hasselblad is a camera system with higher format specifications than Leica, the first Apollo moon landing in 1969, the first human photograph of the earth was taken by a Hasselblad camera, and the latest 100 million pixel model H6D-100C is the queen machine of the founder Sails and the team of Malaysian Hasselblad master Kevin.

The first thing I felt when I saw the photos taken by Xinglan was that they were inspired by the Hasselblad cameras, Brown lighting, and their unique creative ideas. Xinglan's works are luxurious and atmospheric, like commercial blockbusters or posters, and the same is true for wedding photos, most of the compositions are "big scenes", which are more works of art than wedding photos. Xinglan's photographers are very strong in the use of skills, do not follow the routine, are creative, and every newcomer under the lens is unique. But at the same time, it will give people a feeling of "showing off their skills", and it is slightly thin in the expression of the characters' emotions.

Under the leadership of 12 leading figures from China, Malaysia and Japan, the makeup, shooting, lighting, props, and digital post-production departments have a clear division of labor and work together. The studio has branches in Shanghai, Xiamen, Wuhan, Hong Kong and Tokyo, Japan, providing local photography and travel photography. The most expensive local shot in Shanghai is the Sails and Kevin package with a Hasselblad H6D camera, which is available for 29,900 and 39,900, and can also be paired with film negatives. Sails Chong is the founder of Xinglan, Hasselblad Global Ambassador and Brown Global Ambassador, and was named the most stylish photographer by NetEase in 2017, while Kevin is the finale of Xinglan, the uncle from Malaysia, the world's first wedding portrait photographer to win the Hasselblad Master crown. If Kevin is appointed separately, the price is 19,900, and 35 of the 200 photos are retouched. The lowest shooting price is 14,600 yuan, and you can choose your own photographer to take 200 photos and refine 30 photos. All packages include an interior and two exterior locations, make-up services and 3 wedding dresses, please note that the groom must bring his own outfits.

Xinglan has a predetermined travel itinerary every year, and has traveled all over Sanya, Taiwan, and Yunnan in China, Tokyo, Osaka, Nara, Okinawa, and Hokkaido in Japan, Bali in Indonesia, and France, the United Kingdom, and Iceland in Europe. Only Sanya and some cities in Japan are valid all year round, and other locations need to be booked in advance, because specific shoots such as Japanese cherry blossom season, maple leaf season, etc., have seasonal restrictions. Different from local shooting, travel photography is charged by the day, ranging from 14,600 / day to 67,900 / day, the difference lies in the shooting location and the level of the photography team, you can choose three locations to shoot at least 150 photos and refine 30 photos a day, and you need to add an additional 56,000 yuan for night scene shooting, you can take more than 25 photos and refine 10 photos, and the original film will be given away. The newlyweds are responsible for the expenses on the day of the shooting, such as attraction tickets, car rental fees, and tolls.

It is worth noting that, compared with the commercial photo studios that spend a lot of energy on marketing and service, Xinglan's early service experience is slightly inferior, there is no consultant consultation and reception on site, and an appointment is required in advance, and only one pair of guests are received a day.
