Jiqingtang Courtyard Hotel-Institutional Reviews

Across the street from Nanluoguxiang, Jiqingtang in Jiqingtang Shaluo Hutong in Beiluoguxiang is a little less lively and has a little more life. If Hanzhen Garden reproduces the life of Beijing in the early years of dignitaries, then the Jiqing Hall, which is not far away, is more down-to-earth, with ordinary houses, koi in the water tank, starlings in bamboo cages, and pomegranate trees with blue bricks and red beams, and a greeting with a Beijing accent, every detail reveals a strong and authentic old Beijing style.

Jiqingtang is well-known in the community, and has appeared in various programs and advertisements on local TV stations for many times, and is one of the few courtyard homestays in Beijing that retains the characteristics of a courtyard house, which has a certain representativeness. Jiqingtang is a mouth-shaped one-entry courtyard, with a total of 6 guest rooms, including the East Wing Room, the East Ear Room, the West Ear Room, the North Room, the West Wing South Room, and the West Wing North Room.

A few rattan chairs, a wooden table, teacups depicting flowers and birds, a few bird cages, a few pomegranates and a few koi fish make up the courtyard, and a set of new Chinese furniture with a bed and a TV spell out the guest room. Due to the limited space area, the public recreation area of Jiqingtang has been placed underground, and this calligraphy and collection theme basement is equipped with everything from cursive calligraphy, shadow puppet paper cutting, lacquer jewelry boxes to jade screens, where you can enjoy tea while playing the guqin.

Jiqing Hall is adjacent to the palace and can walk to Gulou Street, so the geographical location is very convenient. The B&B provides services and supporting facilities according to the standards of a four-star hotel, and the room rate for a single night is between 700-900 yuan. It is worth mentioning that many women who like Chinese weddings will book a certain room as a boudoir for their wedding on their wedding day, which is very festive.
