When it comes to "my house", everyone may be a little unfamiliar, but when it comes to the "Youyuan", "Guoxue" and "Fangtang" close to the Lama Temple, most backpackers are familiar with it. "My House" is the product of the cross-border cooperation between three architectural, electromechanical and interior designers who love Beijing culture, and is quite popular among petty bourgeois youths and photography enthusiasts who pursue quality of life.
The predecessor of "Youyuan" was a pawnshop in the Republic of China, and later made a place for selling tourist souvenirs, the blue bricks of some years on the wall were pasted with thick latex paint under the brushing of the previous homeowners, and the founder took the construction team to use the most primitive "stupid method", and the coating was peeled off piece by piece, and the most primitive posture of the courtyard wall was presented. The overall building of "Youyuan" adopts a sunken design, with a total of 7 rooms of plum, cloud, lotus, tang, xuan, moon and bamboo, among which there is a wisteria courtyard outside the plum gate, the public rest area is spacious, and there are occasional movie screenings. The guest room retains the original old door frame of the courtyard, and the interior adopts a simple and comfortable Japanese style, and the room rate for a single night ranges from 400 to 900 yuan due to different house types and orientations.
Also known as the "White House" by the fashion pioneers of Beijing, the "Fangtang" is a steel structure with a huge glass courtyard, which is unique and modern among the low-key courtyards around it. The courtyard is clearly divided, the north room can play the piano and paint, the south room can listen to the bamboo bath, the white room has coffee and light meals, and when the interest is high, you can also stroll in the shallow pond scattered with light spots in the courtyard. "Fangtang" has a total of five rooms in Nanshan, Nanzhu, Beihai, Beidao and West Building, and the room rate for a single night is between 600 and 900 yuan. The room is also decorated in Japanese style, with small shelves placed above the bathtub for guests to enjoy potted plants and drink red wine while soaking in the hot springs.
"Chinese Studies" is close to the Confucian Temple Chongsheng Temple, and you can see the Confucian Temple wall when you open the gate. This independent courtyard with a 30-square-meter terrace has 5 rooms with different styles, including Xixia, Mingqing, Chunqiu, Qinyu, and Tangsong. The courtyard of "Guoxue" is a semi-open public space, and there is a jujube tree in the courtyard, and every harvest season, the owner will invite the residents to make jujube together. The courtyard wall of "Chinese Studies" has a history, the broken bricks at the bottom come from the discarded bricks when the Confucian Temple was repaired, some of the upper part are the old civilian green bricks, and then the upper part is the red bricks with high frequency of contemporary use, and you can see the rise and fall of the evolution and the change of the times on one wall. The room rate for a single night in a room is between 600 and 800.
