JW Marriott Hotel Beijing - Institutional Review

JW Marriott Hotel Beijing is the 3,000th hotel in the world under the Marriott Group, opening in 2007. The hotel is located in the East Fourth Ring China Central Place in Chaoyang District, only 500 meters away from Dawang Road subway station, adjacent to the high-end shopping mall SKP, only 20 minutes' drive to Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square, and 40 minutes' drive to Capital International Airport.

The hotel has a total of 588 guest rooms and suites, all of which can be equipped with business amenities such as work desks, smart sockets, luxury 400-wire bedding, flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, electric curtains, safes and rainforest-style showers. Guests staying in Executive Rooms, Executive Suites and Executive Floor Suites can also enjoy the hotel's Executive Lounge. Executive Lounge services include complimentary breakfast, cocktails and desserts, as well as a full range of secretarial and business travel services, including express check-in and check-out, flight and dining reservations, complimentary garment pressing, and complimentary 2-hour meeting room access to the Executive Lounge. However, since the hotel opened in 2007, the equipment in the rooms is slightly outdated, and many guests complain that there are fewer sockets in the rooms.

JW Marriott Hotel Beijing has the perfect venue for meetings and events. The largest ballroom is over 1,200 square meters and is located on the B1 floor of the hotel, with a detachable column-free structure, allowing more choice of meeting venues and formats, and can accommodate up to 1,100 people. The outdoor open-air garden is also a great place to host a variety of small parties. In addition to the spacious and flexible meeting space, the hotel also provides meeting facilities such as projectors, walkie-talkies, loudspeakers, tailor-made catering services for guests, and a senior banquet management team can provide business services such as interpreters and secretaries to ensure that the event is foolproof.

The food and beverage offerings at the hotel are highly sought after by diners, with CRU Steakhouse and Nobu Beijing being the most recommended, ranking 6th on the CNPP100 Steakhouse/Steakhouse list and 11th on the Japanese Restaurant List, respectively. CRU focuses on high-quality beef from Australia, and the beef is grilled with open flame and refractory stone, which not only allows each side of the beef to be heated and locked in moisture, but also makes the surface of the beef have a significant burning feeling, which perfectly interprets the burnt aroma brought by the "Maillard reaction". Nobu is a representative of the new school of Japanese cuisine, with Michelin stars in Beverly Hills and London. Traditional dipping sauces and Mexican-style sauces are available for sashimi, and the cooked food is also very European and American, and Nobu has been reinventing the menu to cater to the tastes of Beijingers, with more spicy dishes. In addition, the hotel's Asian-style restaurant, Dragon Bar and Lobby Lounge provide buffets, cocktails, afternoon tea, etc., and there are CNPP100 recommended restaurants such as Da Dong in the nearby China Central Place, which are within walking distance.

Gyms and swimming pools are also a must-have. The hotel's gym is open 24 hours a day, and guests can access it with their room card, and it uses Technogym equipment, but fitness classes are available at an additional cost. The hotel's indoor swimming pool is 22 meters and has a depth of 0.9 to 1.5 meters, which is smaller than other hotel pools. In addition, the hotel's steam room and spa offer a variety of massages and treatments, making it a great place for guests to relax and unwind.
