Giraffe American originated in Taiwan, and the first children's English teaching center was established in 1987, and there are now 658 branches all over the country. The curriculum design is mainly divided according to the age of children, which is mainly divided into four stages: Early Childhood English (3-6 years old), Advanced English for Children (6-8 years old), Intensive English for Children (9-10 years old), and Elite English for Young Adults (11-12 years old). Generally speaking, Giraffe American is more inclined to oral teaching, and the teaching of grammar rules and test-taking is slightly insufficient, and the teaching system is slightly inferior to that of institutions that use teaching systems such as Longman and Oxford.

Classes are structured around movie appreciation, talent shows, crafts, story readings and social gatherings, which are suitable for children with no prior knowledge of English.
