Y-Space Live Escape Room is an original escape room in Longhua District, which opened in mid-2017, and currently has two original themes: "Deadly Pursuit" and "Escape from Alien Prisoner".
In Deadly Manhunt, players take on the role of elite agents to find the traces of the homicidal maniac who has caused bomb attacks in many parts of the world, and defuse the time bomb that the homicidal maniac has installed in Shenzhen. The theme has a relatively clear plot and main quest, the puzzle design is close to the plot, the difficulty is medium, there are no pitfalls in the whole process, and there are no far-fetched levels. The disadvantage is that the scene layout is too simple, the lighting is limited to ordinary lighting, and there are no urgent and dangerous sound effects, so it lacks a certain sense of substitution, and it is easy for novice players to wander outside the object. Before the game starts, players can simply change their outfits, which are some equipment like body armor, pistols, etc., which increase the sense of substitution, and of course, they can also choose not to wear them.
"Escape from the Alien Prisoner" tells the story of players who are kidnapped by aliens and accidentally discover the shocking secrets of aliens in the process of escaping. The theme of "Escape from the Alien Prisoner" is a highlight in the scene design, and many futuristic design elements impress players, compared with "Deadly Pursuit", the theme scene is richer, but the smoothness and rationality of the puzzles are not as good as "Deadly Pursuit", there are problems such as unclear puzzle directions, and some brain holes make many players have no clue.
Both of Y-Space's secret room themes focus on teamwork and control, and require players to maintain clear brain circuits and a steady mindset in a time-critical environment. "Deadly Manhunt" and "Escape from the Alien Captive" are of reasonable difficulty, and the level design leans towards the traditional routine of the secret room, which is on the easy side for advanced players.
Y-Space offers a flexible number of players, with a minimum of two people and a maximum of eight to ten people, but we recommend no more than five people in a group to ensure a gaming experience. The only drawback is that it is far away from the central urban areas such as Futian and Luohu, and close to the north of Shenzhen, so the geographical location is relatively remote.
