Lianhuashan Park is located at the northern end of Futian District, Shenzhen, built in 1997 and covers an area of 181 hectares.
The park is divided into four areas: the eastern area is a landscape of garden art; The southeast area is a kite square composed of a large area of lawns; The southern area is a tropical and subtropical coconut forest scenic spot dominated by lawns and palms, and the north side is the Lotus Lake, which can be used by visitors for boating and fishing; The western region is a recreational green space with many rare tree species. Next to the southeast gate of the park, there is a "Guan Shanyue Art Museum", where the market invites some well-known painters in the industry to give lectures and hold exhibitions. If you are interested in art, you can come here to relax and watch the exhibition after visiting the park.
At the top of the main peak of the park is a small flat bronze statue square with an area of 4,000 square meters. The route to the summit is very easy, whether you walk up the winding road or climb the ladder trail, it can reach the summit in 20 minutes. In the center of the square stands a huge bronze statue of Deng Xiaoping. Countless tourists come to climb the heights and look into the distance to remember this national leader who has a deep connection with Shenzhen. In addition, it is also a reception point for important government officials, and many national leaders have visited and inspected here.
Strictly speaking, Lianhuashan Park can hardly be called an attraction. It's small enough to walk around in an hour or two; The view was also ordinary and lackluster. However, due to its superior geographical location, convenient transportation, and early construction time, coupled with strong political and historical significance, it has become a major cultural landscape in Shenzhen.
