With 29 top luthiers, Lemondo produces around 12,000 guitars a year, 85% of which are exported to other countries, with a Spanish certificate of origin guaranteeing that all guitars are made in a studio in Valencia, Spain. He has won the Spanish National Best Export Award, the Best Handmade Award, the MPIVA Best Quality Award and other well-known awards in the guitar industry.
Whether it is in the field of folk or classical guitar, the quality of mass production and handmade piano is getting closer and closer, but the gap is almost impossible to eliminate, the fundamental reason is that each piece of wood is different, the sound characteristics are naturally different, and the luthier needs to constantly adjust the sound beam structure in the production process to achieve the best timbre, and the mass production piano due to the machine batch cutting and assembly line operation, can not give full play to the best effect of each piece of wood through customization. It requires the guitarist to have a clear playing style and sound preference, be familiar with the acoustic characteristics of wood, and know what kind of sound he needs, so professional guitarists often choose handmade pianos.
Lemondo's hand-made guitars are made in a wide variety of woods. The panel is made of top German needle fir spruce and Canadian red cedar, with a long growth cycle and air-drying years, good stability and timbre, and the fingerboard is mostly made of African ebony with high hardness. In addition to the classic mahogany and rosewood, the back panels are made of rosewood, walnut and coochus, and even the most precious rosewoods, which not only create a great sound, but also a good look.
In terms of adaptor, Leundo also adopts the classic "Spanish" adaptation process, which is better than the ordinary "dovetail" adapter in terms of stability and volume.
For beginner and mid-range enthusiasts, production is sufficient. Lemondo's mass-produced classical guitars are mainly divided into beginner series, studio series, advanced series and professional series, the larger the number of models, the longer the growth cycle and air-drying life of the wood, but also the more ornate decoration, all can be customized left hand instrument.
The price of the beginner series is 6000-8000 yuan, the panel is veneer, you can choose Korean pine or spruce, the back and side panels are mainly sapere, Brazilian rosewood, mahogany, etc., there are also bright and matte two kinds of paint options, there is no difference between the advantages and disadvantages of the paint surface, you can choose according to your own preferences. Compared to the Alhambra, Raimondo's beginner series is not very cost-effective.
The studio series is positioned for recording and live performances, with the dorsal side panels upgraded to rosewood. Rosewood has the widest range of sounds, especially bass and sustain, so it is also one of the most popular materials for high-end guitars, and the fretboard began to use ebony, which has a much better texture and hardness than the rosewood of the beginner series.
The biggest change is the use of cedar as the neck, light weight, easy to process, and has good stability and hardness, the conductivity of the sound is more prominent, only used on the top concert guitars, the average price of the senior series and professional series is more than 20,000 yuan, suitable for guitar lovers with teaching, examination and stage performance needs.
