The predecessor of Dianhong Group is Yunnan Fengqing Tea Factory, which was first founded in 1939 as Shunning Tea Factory, and Dianhong was developed by its founder Feng Shaoqiu. At present, Dianhong Group has a tea garden base of 100,000 acres, of which 30,700 acres are owned by itself, with 85 primary processing plants, refining processing plants covering an area of 340 acres, with a plant area of 70,000 m² and an annual production scale of 15,000 tons. In the current Pu'er tea hot market environment, the cost of raw materials is high, Dianhong Group as a leading Yunnan red manufacturing enterprise, black tea still occupies up to 80% of the share in its products, its brand "Feng" brand tea won the title of "China time-honored brand", and has been awarded the national gold medal for many times.
In the early 30s of the last century, Feng Shaoqiu made tea in the Qimen Tea Improvement Factory and designed a set of machinery and equipment for the initial production of black tea, creating a precedent for China's machine-made black tea, and is known as the father of machine-made tea. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Feng Shaoqiu turned to the southwest region, and with many years of experience in making Qi Hong, he successfully trial-produced Yunnan Red in the Shunning Tea Factory in Yunnan. Both are gongfu black tea, although Qi red and Yunnan red are similar in technology, the raw materials they use are completely different. The leaf species of Quercus chinensis is a shrub-type small and medium-sized leaf species, and the raw materials selected for the earliest Yunnan red are from the traditional small arbor type Yunnan large-leaf species, and the leaves are more fat, so the aroma of Yunnan red is not as prominent as Qi Hong, but the taste is much stronger, and the Hong Kong tea market at that time spoke highly of it, thinking that its color and taste were better than Qi Hong, and the aroma was higher than that of Indian black tea.
Shunning Tea Factory can be said to be the "Whampoa Military Academy" of Yunnan Hong, the Fohai (Menghai) Tea Factory, Yiliang Tea Factory, Fuxing Tea Factory and Kangzang Tea Factory were founded a little later, and its directors were transferred from the technicians of Shunning Tea Factory. At present, the Tea Science Research Institute of Dianhong Group has been established for more than 30 years and is the first tea research institute run by an enterprise in China. The traditional Yunnan local group tea plants have poor cold resistance, and the varieties are complex, susceptible to the influence of low temperature weather, and the yield is not high, so the Yunnan Provincial Institute of Tea Science has developed the "Yunkang 10" clone cold-resistant tea variety and planted it widely. In addition, the Tea Academy of Dianhong Group has also independently selected and bred "Qingshui No. 3", "Fengqing No. 9" and other national tea varieties, with beautiful appearance and strong taste, which is due to its rich tea seed resource garden, which preserves more than 800 excellent varieties of tea trees around the world, and can continuously improve and cultivate new products.
In 1958, the "Golden Bud Tea" produced by Fengqing Tea Factory, its appearance was Jinhao disclosed, straight like a needle, and it was auctioned at the highest price in the British tea market, and then it was recognized as a foreign affairs gift tea, and in 1986, Yunnan black tea was presented as a national gift to Queen Elizabeth II who visited China. The main product of Fengpai Dianhong is the classic 58 series, which is positioned in mass consumer goods, and the price of 60g canned is 58 yuan, which is the best choice for the first time to try Dianhong, and there are also relatively affordable 200g packs, priced at 108 yuan. The use of innovative technology of golden bud tea, golden silk Yunnan red, etc. are more expensive, such as the price of 250g of golden bud tea is 500 yuan, the selection of high-quality buds, the cord is even, and the body is full of gold. Most of the traditional Yunnan red are sold as ration tea, and the combination and gift packaging are relatively rich, and the top Yunnan red "China Red" 80g is priced at 3980 yuan. In addition, there is also a "Golden Cake Black Tea" that draws on the pressing process of Pu'er tea, which is packed with 357g in standard units and priced at 388 yuan, which is suitable for old tea customers to buy.
