How about La Roche-Posay children's sunscreen brand introduction

La Roche-Posay's sunscreen products are highly acclaimed thanks to the parent company, the L'Oréal Group. In the 80s and 90s of the last century, the development of sunscreen developed by leaps and bounds, and L'Oréal developed a patented ingredient that can protect against UVA in 1982 (MexorylSX), and in 1988, it developed a patented ingredient "Broad-spectrum sunscreen Wheat Filter XL (MexorylXL)", which can fully protect against UVA and UVB. These two sunscreen ingredients are used in the Group's sunscreen products under various brands, including L'Oréal Paris, Lancôme, La Roche-Posay, Biotherm and Vichy.

Most of La Roche-Posay's sunscreen products are a combination of physical and chemical sunscreens, featuring patented ingredients MexorylSX and MexorylXL, which can absorb full-band UVA and UVB in combination, combined with chemical sunscreens such as Tinosorb S, Uvasorb HEB, Avobenzone, Octocrylene, and titanium dioxide to enhance the protective effect.

La Roche-Posay's diverse range of sunscreen lotions is available in two types of sunscreen lotions specifically designed for children: ANTHELIOS Dermo-pediatrics SPF 50 Smooth Lotion and ANTHELIOS Dermo-pediatrics SPF 50 Lotion Baby.

Since the FDA classifies sunscreen compounds as over-the-counter drugs, and EU regulators classify them as "cosmetic components", the types of sunscreens allowed to be used in the US market are much less than those in Europe.

The European version of La Roche-Posay has a strong sunscreen ability, but it was criticized because the skin feeling is not as good as that of Japanese sunscreen, and it has been much refreshing after research and development. The formula of the two European versions of children's sunscreen and adult sunscreen is not much different, the sunscreen ingredients are basically the same, it is a combination of physical and chemical sunscreen, similar in use, although there is still a slight whitening, but compared with most pure physical sunscreens, it is still much lighter, easy to extend, and the film is formed quickly.

Both are fragrance-free, ANTHELIOS Dermo-pediatrics SPF 50 Lotion Baby claims to be available for babies over 6 months old, with more glycerin added and a more moisturizing texture, but not water resistant, while ANTHELIOS Dermo-pediatrics SPF 50 Smooth Lotion has 80 minutes of water resistance, which is officially recommended for children over 3 years old. These two protection index reaches SPF50 / PPD38, 250ml is priced at about 230 yuan, because it is a combination of physical and chemical and contains alcohol, it is recommended to conduct a small range of tests before use to prevent allergic symptoms after large-scale use.

La Roche-Posay also offers two sunscreen sprays for children, ANTHELIOS Dermo-pediatrics SPF 50 Multi-position Spray (PPD 25) and ANTHELIOS Dermo-pediatrics SPF 50 Spray (PPD 25), which have essentially the same sunscreen composition as the two children's sunscreen lotions. It is generally not recommended to use the spray on children's faces, as it can be easily accidentally inhaled or sprayed around the eyes, but it can be applied to the body and can be easily reapplied as an on-the-go reapplication. Note that the spray viscosity is thinner, the formation of the oil film is thinner, and the spraying should be fully covered, otherwise it can not achieve a better protective effect.
