Different from Panasonic's "machine sea" strategy, Mitsubishi Electric did not launch low-end models specifically for the Chinese market, and the dehumidifiers currently on sale are all produced and imported from Japan, and sold simultaneously in Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places, equipped with Japanese Panasonic cyclotron compressors, which are trustworthy in terms of performance and quality. In the 2018 evaluation of the Hong Kong Consumer Council, the Mitsubishi Electric MJ-E130AL-H not only performed steadily in terms of dehumidification capacity, but also achieved noise control in the middle and upper reaches of the same specification, receiving a four-and-a-half star (out of five) recommendation.
 
At present, there are only 3 types of Mitsubishi Electric dehumidifiers on sale in China, among which MJ-E140AF-C has the strongest dehumidification capacity and the most complete functions, with a daily dehumidification capacity of 25L, the upper air outlet and the front air outlet support swing wind, dry clothes and floor dehumidification are at ease, and the price is about 5000 yuan. The MJ-E80CF-C is an older model, which only supports upward ventilation, and the dehumidification capacity is also smaller, suitable for a usable area of 30 square meters, and the price is more than 3500 yuan.
 
In addition, Mitsubishi Electric dehumidifiers are also equipped with silver ion filters as standard, and the fibers of the filter are added with fungicides and deodorants, which have a certain bacteriostatic and deodorizing effect, but it should be noted that it cannot filter toxic gases such as secondhand smoke or carbon monoxide. Regular cleaning and maintenance are required during use.
 
Under the same specifications, the price of Mitsubishi Electric dehumidifier is much higher than that of domestic products, manufacturing costs are on the one hand, and the higher tariffs on domestic imported household appliances are also the main reasons, such as similar models, the price of Hong Kong licensed goods is only less than 70% of the domestic price. At the end of 2017, the state lowered tariffs on some imported household appliances, which will improve the situation.
