When buying locks, you can never go wrong with either choosing a brand owned by a larger security company or choosing a brand with a deep background in the lock industry. Guli is one of the few lock brands that can meet these two conditions at the same time.
 
Guli is the most representative lock brand of Zhongshan Xiaolan in the "Southern Lock City", in the eighties, its production of spherical door locks were exported to foreign countries in large quantities, and in 2003 it was the first position in the national lock market share. The history of the Guli brand can be traced back to 1969, its predecessor was the "Xiaolan Lock Factory", which produced the famous "Diamond Brand" locks in the Pearl River Delta region. In 1992, Guangdong Guli Lock Group Co., Ltd. was established, and "Diamond Brand" was renamed "Guli Brand".
 
In 2001, Guli was incorporated into the ASSA ABLOY Group, one of the world's top ten security companies, and Guli became the first wholly foreign-owned enterprise in the domestic lock industry and the largest lock manufacturer of ASSA ABLOY Group in Asia. Due to the large number of products exported, Guli has also become one of the few enterprises in China that can design and manufacture security hardware products in strict accordance with the American standard ANSI, European standard EN, Australian standard, New Zealand standard, national standard and public security anti-theft standard, as well as the American UL fire protection standard and Chinese fire protection standard.
 
Guli has a certain accumulation in the field of external door locks, and in 1974, it pioneered the development of 560 type zinc alloy die-casting single-tongue external door locks. Up to now, Guli has a variety of different categories of products on exterior door locks, including double-lock locks and multi-tongue door locks, but its products are all marked as Class B locks. It should be noted that the "Class B lock" here does not refer to the lock cylinder level, but the Class B lock classified in the industry standard QB/T 2473-2000 "Exterior Door Lock". According to the standard, the exterior door lock is divided into two types: grade A and grade B, and grade A is better than grade B in terms of mutual opening rate, firmness and flexibility. For this reason, Class A is also referred to as the "Safety Type" and Class B is the "Ordinary Type".
 
Among the external door locks of Guli, H201, R3000 and RA2000 are more recommended. Among them, the H201 is the same double-lock lock as the Moldile 136, with a more compression-resistant zinc alloy shell. The R3000 is made of stainless steel, which is a common multi-tongue door lock, and provides two deadbolt structures to choose from, one is the universal 1 oblique tongue and 2 cylindrical tongue structure, and the other is 1 oblique tongue and 1 double hook tongue structure. Compared with the two deadbolt structures, the latter is more resistant to violent opening, and the protruding tongue hook can be firmly attached to the latch. The RA2000 also has a stainless steel lock body shell, which is different from other steel models not mentioned in the same material and has good durability.
 
In addition, although Guli does not specify the lock cylinder level in the product details, the H201, R3000 and RA2000 are more secure from the perspective of keyhole structure. Because in addition to these three door locks, the keyholes of other models of door locks are common, simple cross-shaped and slotted, and the appearance is more "retro", which should be the earlier model.
 
Compared with brands such as Yuema and Golden Point Atom, Guli locks are not easy to buy, and the official online sales channels have not yet been opened. Consumers who want to buy Guli locks are recommended to consult offline agents.
