Although 3Dconnexion is not well-known in China, it has a high status in the professional field, and is a representative brand of 3D modeling and CAD design, with rich R&D experience and world-leading technical strength, supporting more than 200 mainstream 3D applications.
According to statistics, the penetration rate of 3Dconnexion 3D mouse in Germany is about 8 percent, and more than 780,000 designers, animation designers and engineers around the world are using 3Dconnexion products, and large enterprises such as Boeing, BMW, Volkswagen, Honda, and Bosch are 3Dconnexion customers.
3Dconnexion currently has two series, SpaceMouse and CadMouse, both of which have won the 2017 IF Design Award, although the number of products is not much, but it is a professional high-end route, the price of the lowest end products is about 1,000 yuan, and the flagship product is more than 3000 yuan.
SpaceMouse is the current flagship series of 3Dconnexion, the biggest feature of this series is the use of joystick design, farewell to the scroll wheel or long press the mouse button working mode, only need to gently push, pull, press, lift, rotate or tilt the 3D mouse control cap, you can easily realize the translation, rotation and zoom of the 3D model scene, greatly improve work efficiency.
The SpaceMouse series is subdivided into SpaceMouse Enterprise, SpaceMouse Pro wired/wireless, and SpaceMouse Compact wired/wireless. Enterprise is designed for large enterprises, the color LCD display area is larger, supports fast visual navigation technology, has 31 programmable buttons, and the price is about 3500 yuan. SpaceMouse Pro has two wired and wireless models, mainly for small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals, the display is smaller, there are only 15 customizable buttons, the size and weight are slightly smaller, and the price is close to 3000 yuan. The SpaceMouse Compact is also divided into two versions: wired version and wireless version, which is more like a pure joystick in appearance, with neither a screen nor shortcut buttons, and the size is the smallest in several series, with a price of more than 1,000 yuan.
The CadMouse series is a traditional right-handed mouse form factor, which is divided into two types: wired CadMouse and wireless CadMouse Wireless. Different from ordinary mice, CadMouse has three left, middle and right buttons, and you no longer need to rely on the scroll wheel when you click the middle button, and there is a bit of Logitech mouse flavor in many details, and the overall PCB layout and circuit design are also completely Logitech technology. From the functional point of view, CadMouse is still a product for CAD professionals, with a QuickZoom function specially adapted for CAD, which can quickly zoom in and out of the model by clicking the thumb button, but the positioning is much lower than that of SpaceMouse, and the price is about 900 yuan.
Although 3Dconnexion does not have its own flagship store in China, it has authorized network distributors in Jingdong and Taobao, and Shanghai Wanju Information Technology Co., Ltd. is its domestic general agent, supporting a three-year domestic warranty and does not need overseas shopping.
