How about Toshiba SSD brand introduction

Recommended model: Q200EX

Toshiba Semiconductor, formerly part of the Toshiba Group, was the inventor of flash memory. Nowadays, many SSD manufacturers such as Puket and Kingston use Toshiba's flash memory chips, and Toshiba also has a very close cooperation with SanDisk to jointly develop new flash memory technologies. In May 2018, after a long tug-of-war, Toshiba sold its most valuable semiconductor business to the Bain consortium in order to repay the group's debts, with the participation of Apple, Kingston, SK hynix and other companies, marking the official end of the Japanese era in the semiconductor industry.

Although Toshiba is strong in flash memory technology, Toshiba did not launch a flagship-level M.2 SSD in 2017, and now only Q200EX and TR200 products are on sale on e-commerce platforms. As an entry-level SSD, the performance of the new TR200 is average, not as good as the Intel 545S, but the price is very low, which is suitable for users who want to try the SSD at a low price.

Q200EX as an old product released for more than two years, in the SATA interface SSD with the new products head-on, but Q200EX performance is still relatively good, although its caching mechanism has been criticized by some people, but Q200EX will still have a good performance under normal use.
