With a history of more than 120 years, L.POLVERINI is one of the oldest accordion manufacturers in the world, and the world's first knob bass accordion was developed by Borgini, which is now in the Castelfidardo Accordion Museum in Italy. In the early 19th century, Borovini produced the world's first accordion with an echo pipe, and after the Second World War, Borovini became the largest manufacturer of echo accordions in Italy, mainly for the United States.

Borovini is also the only manufacturer in the world capable of designing and producing all types of accordions (conventional, keyboard bass, button bass, MIDI accordion).
