How about the Lakewood folk guitar brand introduction

Lakewood is an outstanding representative of the classic European piano, established in 1986 by the famous German luthier Martin Seeliger, with a crystal clear and clean tone, is the favorite brand of many master guitarists, Korean guitar genius Jung Sung-ha and the godfather of the German fingerstyle world Ulli Boegershausen have Lakewood's signature piano, and because of this special voice, Lakewood has become the favorite guitar brand of many fingerstyle players.

Lakewood guitars fully consider the hand shape of Asian piano friends, most of the imported models are customized specifications, the guitar sold in Europe and the United States is about 46mm wide, and the Asian side is about 42mm, which is more suitable for the size of Asian palms, so it is easier to adapt to European pianos such as Lowden.

At present, Lakewood adopts semi-manual and semi-mechanized production, mainly divided into Natural series, Deluxe series, Premium series, the neck of the three series is mahogany, the fingerboard bridge is ebony, and the knobs are also from Germany's top knob brand Schaller.

The Natural series is mainly made of spruce or pine as the panel, and mahogany is the raw material for the back and side panels, and is one of the most popular series. Among them, the representative models are M14P and M18, and the price is about 20,000 yuan.

The guitar top of the Deluxe series is the same as that of the Natural series, with a European spruce and a rosewood back and side panels, and is available in different shapes to suit a variety of playing needs. Compared with the Natural series, this series is more high-profile, and the body of the luxury series is all made of high-gloss paint, with abalone back trim and gold-plated strings, with an average price of about 30,000 yuan.

The Premium series is Lakewood's highest-end collection. The panels are upgraded to a higher specification of European spruce, and the back and side panels are different for each model, from cypress to Hawaiian acacia, almost all high-end woods are included, worthy of the word high-end, and the whole series is a missing corner with electric box. In addition, all Lakewood guitars will be equipped with a near-luxury HISCOX case, and the market price of the case alone has reached more than 2,000 yuan.

Because it is not a mass-produced instrument, Lakewood's product line is much inferior in length to Martin Taylor, and the production volume is small, with an annual output of about 750 pieces, and due to the exchange rate, its cost performance is not very high. There's no such thing as a good or bad high-end instrument, only a difference in which style of music is suited, and if you're a finger guitarist who prefers a bright and transparent tone, consider Lakewood.
