The history of Klüber Lubrication in China dates back to the eighties of the last century. In 1980, Klüber Lubrication established its first company in Hong Kong, marking a milestone in its entry into the Chinese market. Since then, Klüber Lubricating has been providing local services to customers in the Chinese market. In 1997, Klüber Lubrication China was established in Shanghai, followed by subsidiaries in Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
After more than 30 years of continuous development, Klüber Lubrication has become a leader in China's specialty lubricant industry, with business covering various industries such as automobile, cement, wood, textile, rail transit, wind power, steel, food, and shipbuilding. In 2014, Klüber Lubrication invested in the commissioning of a new, modern R&D center as well as office and training facilities.
