We are a family-owned business

Today, more than 3 million customers worldwide rely on Würth. The driving force behind the long-term success of the Würth Group is its people and a very special corporate philosophy. Würth is a family business founded in 1945 by Adolf Würth. In 1954, at the age of 19, Professor Ryan Würth took over the business after the death of his father and continued to grow it. Today, Prof. Dr. Ryan Würth is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group Family Trust. From the early years of post-war Germany, Professor Ryan Würth developed a company with only two employees into a globally operating group of companies.

Our philosophy

Professor Ryan Würth gave the Würth Group a clear business direction: a strong brand, a forward-looking product strategy, proximity to customers, clear quality assurance, a visionary way of thinking and a strong corporate culture. As Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Würth Group and members of the Central Management Board, Prof. Ryan Würth's daughter, Bettina Würth, will continue to implement these core values and continue to develop the Würth Group.
