Founded in Germany in 1921, it is one of the top ten brands of electric soldering irons, the inventor of the world's first electric soldering iron, and a provider of overall welding solutions and problem solvers in the electrical assembly industry
The ERSA brand has been synonymous with welding for more than 90 years, and we have always maintained a strategic commitment to keep our R&D at the forefront of the industry, leading the development of the entire electrical assembly industry in all aspects.
In 1921, Ernst Sacha opened the first special factory in Berlin, Germany, for the production of soldering irons, and he named and founded the company ERSA, which was born after the first two letters of his surname and first name.
Mr. Sachs hand-manufactured a sample of the famous H-1 soldering iron, patented it in Germany, and subsequently participated in the Leipzig Autumn Exhibition. ERSA's H-1 is the first soldering iron ever seen in the world for large-scale production. His products aroused a lot of interest in Germany and abroad, and he received his first orders. Ernst Sachs devoted himself to the management of the new company, showing creative imagination and commercial foresight. He pushed the company onto the track of sustainable development, developed product lines, expanded production, and made the company develop healthily and have a certain ability to resist risks.
After World War II, Ernst Sachs had to rebuild ERSA from scratch again, this time with relative ease, because the strength of his character was already well known to his customers and suppliers. It is worth mentioning that he has the trust of his workers. In 1953, his son, Ernst Sacha, Jr. began to help him. ERSA should be grateful for redesigning the company from a pure welding equipment manufacturer to a total welding solution provider and problem solver for the electrical equipment industry.
