Guangxi Nanning East Asia Sugar Group was established in October 1993 by its parent company, Thailand Liangyi Group, to produce sugar products for the Chinese market.

At present, it has 7 joint ventures in Chongzuo City, Guangxi, namely: Guangxi Funan East Asia Sugar Co., Ltd., Guangxi Dalu East Asia Sugar Co., Ltd., Guangxi Chongzuo East Asia Sugar Co., Ltd., Guangxi Ningming East Asia Sugar Co., Ltd., Guangxi Haitang East Asia Sugar Co., Ltd., Guangxi East Asia Refined Sugar Co., Ltd., Guangxi East Asia Funan Fine Sugar Co., Ltd. Headquartered in the Investment Building, No. 109 Minzu Avenue, Nanning City, the capital of Guangxi, the Group is the information, management and external contact center of 7 companies. Mr. Wang Dongfa, Chairman of the Group, Mr. Wang Hongzhou, Managing Director of the Group, and the main foreign shareholders are from Thailand's sugar group, Thailand Liangyi Sugar Group.

From the beginning of the joint venture to the 2006/2007 crushing season, the daily crushing capacity has increased from 13,500 tons/day to more than 55,000 tons/day.
