Yunnan Yingmao Sugar (Group) Co., Ltd. is a large-scale, well-benefited state-owned sugar enterprise in our province, in 2009 won the title of the top ten sugar enterprises in the country, ranked eighth, in 2010 jumped to the sixth place, in 2011 jumped to the fourth place. Our company has a registered capital of 410 million yuan, and has five professional sugar production subsidiaries in Dehong, Banna, Yuanyang, Heqing and Wenshan and a professional compound fertilizer production subsidiary in Kunming. The main business is the manufacture and sales of white sugar, refined white sugar, alcohol, compound fertilizer, organic fertilizer and other products. It has 12 sugar factories and 13 sugar production lines in Dehong Prefecture, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Honghe Prefecture, Dali Prefecture and Wenshan Prefecture, with a daily processing capacity of 40,500 tons of sugarcane and an annual output of 500,000 tons of white sugar. The company has developed more than 90 million acres of sugarcane planting area in 15 counties and cities in the above-mentioned prefectures, as well as in Laos, Myanmar and other countries, benefiting 98,000 households and 380,000 people.
The company has more than 4,000 regular employees, 120 with intermediate and senior professional titles, 6 with master's degrees, and 530 with college degree or above.
In 2011, Yingmao Sugar had total assets of 2.537 billion yuan and net assets of 1.353 billion yuan, and in the 2010/2011 crushing season, a total of 3.63 million tons of sugarcane were pressed, with a sugar yield of 12.95%, 470,000 tons of sugar, 28,000 tons of alcohol, and 35,000 tons of fertilizer for sugarcane. In 2011, the sales revenue was 3.239 billion yuan, the profit was 750 million yuan, and the tax was 346 million yuan.
From 2003 to 2011, Yingmao Sugar achieved a total sales revenue of 12.808 billion yuan, a net profit of 1.96 billion yuan, and a tax of 1.403 billion yuan.
