CJ Korea Co., Ltd. was founded in August 1953 as CheilJedang Industries, Ltd. CJ (Qingdao) Food Co., Ltd. was established in China in 1995 as a wholly-owned company.

In 2002, the first "Daxida" condiment factory was established in Qingdao, China, and "Daxida" condiments (chicken essence, beef powder, seafood powder, etc.) and instant foods (3-minute series instant curry and Daxida instant soup stock) have been accepted and liked by more and more consumers, and the corporate and brand image has gradually developed and improved in China.As an important part of CJ Group in China, CJ Foods established a long-term development strategy in 1995 and opened the door to the Chinese market by launching the 'Daheeda' product in the Chinese Korean food market. With a market share of more than 80% in South Korea, the product "Dahee Da Beef Noodles" has received strong support and concern from Chinese Korean restaurant customers after entering the Chinese market, and has grown rapidly. On this basis, we have set up fully automatic modern production bases and RD R&D centers in Qingdao and Beijing to fully enter the Chinese market.

With a long history of Chinese food culture, CJ Foods launched the "Daxi Da Chicken Bouillon" series in 2006 based on more than 50 years of experience in food development and production. The "Daxi Big Chicken Essence", which has been obtained, has been supported by consumers since the early days of its listing. "Daxi Chicken Essence" won the "2009, 2010 China International Seasoning and Food Raw Materials Expo Gold Medal Product" with excellent quality, and with an annual growth rate of more than 40% rapid growth, the current market share of Daxi Chicken Essence in the Beijing retail market has reached 35%, standing in the second position of similar products.
