It is the main production base of chemical building materials under Shanghai Building Materials (Group) Corporation (SBM).
The predecessor of the company is a Sino-foreign joint venture of Shanghai Building Waterproof Materials (Group) Company (formerly Shanghai Building Waterproof Materials Factory), which has absorbed all the high-quality assets of Shanghai Building Waterproof Materials (Group) Company and transformed into a state-controlled joint-stock enterprise after continuous integration and reorganization in recent years.
