Jiangsu Prince Paper Co., LtdIt is the largest industrial project that Japan has invested in China so far. It is also the largest overseas investment project of the Oji Group. The factory is located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, which is developing rapidly. With a total investment of nearly US$2 billion, the project adopts an integrated pulp and paper production model, including two high-grade paper production lines with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons, a bleaching chemical pulp production line with an annual output of 714,000 tons, as well as self-supplied thermal power plants, water intake and drainage facilities, wharves and other public facilities. Most of the raw materials produced by the factory come from foreign raw material forest bases, and make full use of biomass energy, strengthen the recovery of resources, and realize the reuse of resources. The project started construction in November 2007, and the first phase of construction was completed at the end of 2010, that is, the construction of a 400,000-ton high-grade paper production line, wharf, self-supplied power plant, drainage and other facilities. In 2011, the No. 1 paper machine was officially put into production.
