Shanghai Shenbei Office Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Shenbei) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanggong Shenbei (Group) Co., Ltd. In 1994, Shanggong Shenbei was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange AB shares (600843, 900924), and since 2005, it has successfully acquired three group companies: DurkoppAdler AG, KSL Keilmann and PFAFF Industriesysteme.

In 1964, Shanghai Shenbei's predecessor developed and produced China's first photocopier --- Shanghai Photocopier Factory, a subsidiary of Shanghai Film and Photographic Equipment Industry Company. In 1987, it was officially renamed Shanghai Shenbei Office Machinery Company, and the "Shenbei" brand came into being. At the end of the 80s of the last century, Shanghai Shenbei cooperated with Xerox Corporation of the United States to jointly invest in the establishment of "Shanghai Xerox Co., Ltd." (currently accounting for 15.9% of its capital). In 1990, Shanghai Shenbei developed and produced the first document shredder WSD220-A in China.

After two integrations in 2013 and 2014, Shanghai Shenbei is mainly divided into three types of business: foreign trade, domestic trade and self-operated brands.

Foreign trade business--- mainly engaged in the import and export business of three series of products such as office stationery, electronic products, daily necessities, etc., medium-sized foreign trade companies, operating more than 50 kinds of products. At present, the annual export volume of foreign trade business is about 32 million US dollars, and the total import and export sales are about 220 million yuan.

The main business scope of the domestic trade business --- includes: channel sales, Suning stores, e-commerce, customer service and digital fast printing, involving brands such as Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, Kyocera, Brother, Xindu, etc.

The self-operated brand business --- mainly operates: it is committed to the research and development, production and sales of ShenBei brand products, including four categories: shredders, financial binding machines, drilling machines and paper cutting machines.
