Renamed from Tencent Game Platform TGP to WeGame, Tencent provides a multi-dimensional PC independent game service platform for developers and players around the world, and a game publishing platform with a large number of domestic users/access to large-scale game products

WeGame is an upgraded version of Tencent's gaming platform, which is aimed at global and domestic players, directly connecting game developers and users, creating more communication and interaction between the two.

The WeGame platform provides one-stop services, including game information, purchases, downloads, assistants, live streaming, and community functions. Wegame provides high-quality localization services, including high-quality sinicization, social interaction, and a more stable and fast national server. The WeGame platform will explore a huge amount of game content, innovate gameplay types, and also take into account the appreciation power of core players.

In April 2017, Tencent announced that it would upgrade its game platform TGP (Tencent Games Platform) and change its name to WeGame. According to Tencent's official website, the Tencent WeGame client will be officially launched on September 1, and it is determined to become Chinese's own "Steam" game platform, providing one-stop game services for global developers and domestic players.
