The industrial textile business has also achieved significant development, and the automotive textile interior supporting products have become the main suppliers of automotive textile and interior products of Volkswagen, General Motors, Honda and other major car manufacturers, among which the national market share of the primary and secondary supporting products of automotive carpets has reached 40%, accounting for more than 30% of the market share of automotive knitted interior headliner fabrics. The annual output of automobile seat belts is 100 million meters, with a market share of 40%. Shenda Kebao has become the largest manufacturer of wide PVC composite materials in China. Geocomposite materials for construction are in a leading position in the industry, and their products are used in major national construction projects such as the Three Gorges Project, Pudong International Airport, and Tianjin Binhai New Area.

The second is the production and trade of branded textiles. Shanghai Textile has become the largest textile and garment export enterprise in China, with the total export value of textile and garment accounting for 13% of the textile and garment exports in the Shanghai Customs District, and its customers are in more than 100 countries and regions in the world. Shanghai Textile has a number of well-known clothing and home textile brands, with more than 8,500 sales outlets nationwide.
