Founded in 1946, Taiwan Cement Corporation is the leading business of the Taiwan Cement Corporation Group, whose main business scope includes the production and sales of cement and cement products, as well as the production and sales of ready-mixed concrete. In 2014, the total production capacity in Greater China was about 60 million tons, ranking sixth in China (citing statistics from China Cement Network). Taiwan Cement Corporation is one of the world's major export manufacturers, and its high quality has a good reputation in the world, and has successively obtained a number of certificates including Los Angeles City Government Cement Certification and EU Cement CE Certification.

At present, Taiwan Cement Corporation has cement plants in Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Heping, Suao and Hualien. Invested in Zhujiaqiao, Anhui, Liuzhou, Guangxi and Fuzhou, Fujian, with a total of 16 cement plants, 3 grinding plants, 22 ready mix plants and a cement port in Taiwan and Chinese mainland respectively.

In order to implement the environmental protection concept of "environmental protection is a responsibility, not a cost", and fulfill its social and civic responsibilities, Taiwan Cement Corporation has successively set foot in power generation, waste treatment and other businesses, and has become a real environmental protection enterprise based on the three cores of "cement, power generation and environmental protection". The R&D center of Taiwan Cement Corporation in Taoyuan has been continuously investing in the innovation and development of products and processes.
