Fujian Cement Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fujian Cement, stock code: 600802) is a state-controlled large-scale cement production enterprise, one of the first five listed companies in Fujian Province to be listed in a standardized manner, and is a large cement production enterprise in Fujian Province. For more than 50 years, the company has created a foundation in the arduous years, played a triumphant song in the course of endeavor, and developed its ambitions in the new era, with an annual cement production capacity of 6 million tons, which has been identified by the National Development and Reform Commission as one of the 60 key cement enterprises in the country, and has become a bright pearl in China's cement industry.
The predecessor of the company was Fujian Yongan Cement Plant and Fujian Cement Plant. Fujian Yongan Cement Plant was a national key construction project of that year, founded in July 1958, and renamed "Fujian Cement Plant" on May 1, 1986 with the approval of the Fujian Provincial Government. In November 1993, it was restructured and established as a joint-stock company and renamed as "Fujian Cement Co., Ltd."
On January 3, 1994, the company was approved to be listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange as a high-quality enterprise. On December 28, 1998, it merged with Shunchang Cement Plant, the second largest cement enterprise in Fujian Province at that time, realizing the strong alliance of the first and second largest cement enterprises in the province. In 2000, the company's headquarters was officially moved from Yongan to Jianfu Building, the center of Fuzhou City. Since then, the company has gone out of Yong'an, to the whole province, and is committed to faster and stronger development, the company's 4#, 6#, 7#, 8#, 9# kilns have been completed and put into operation.
