Tianrui Group Cement Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the mining and utilization of limestone, as well as the production and sales of clinker and cement, and occupies a leading position among cement clinker producers in Henan and Liaoning provinces. At the same time, the company is also one of the 12 national cement enterprises (groups) supported by the Chinese government, and can obtain preferential support and preferential policies from the government in terms of project approval, grant of land use rights and credit approval when carrying out mergers and acquisitions and project investment in the cement industry. It is also the only non-state-owned enterprise to be designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China as one of the top five leading cement companies in Central China to receive Chinese government support for the merger and integration of the cement industry.
As of 31 December 2012, the Company had a total of 18 clinker production lines and 42 cement grinding units, with a total annual production capacity of 27.1 million tonnes of clinker and 42.8 million tonnes of cement. The company's clinker production lines all adopt advanced NSP technology, and all are equipped with waste heat recovery technology, which can effectively save electricity costs and minimize pollution. A 12,000 tonnes per day clinker production line was built and put into operation in 2009.
