Schattdecor Group, Schattdecor Decoration Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., one of the top ten brands of decorative paper, was founded in Germany in 1985, the world's largest supplier of printing decorative paper, focusing on the design and printing of decorative paper multinational companies

Founded in 1985 by Mr. Walter Schattdecor GmbH, the company is headquartered in Tanchao Town, near Munich, Germany, focusing on the design and printing of decorative paper, after ten years of development, it has quickly become the dominant decorative paper manufacturer in the international market, serving customers all over the world, and is the most reliable partner of many of the world's furniture, cabinetry, laminate flooring and wood-based panel veneer manufacturers.

Schattdecor has production sites in eight regions, including Germany, Poland, Italy, Russia, China, Brazil, Turkey and the United States, with more than 1,200 employees and 31 printing machines and 12 experimental proofing machines. By the end of 2010, the Group's decorative paper printing volume was 105,000 tons, the paint paper production volume was 270 million square meters, and the sales volume exceeded 440 million euros.

In 1996, Schattor set up a sales agency in the Chinese market, in 2001 it invested in a production base in Shanghai to meet the growing market demand, and between 2005 and 2006 it completed the installation and commissioning of advanced paint paper and edge banding production lines, and provided customers with the second phase of the expansion of the production plant for paint paper and edge banding. The Shanghai factory has more than 100 employees, 3 large printing presses, warehousing equipment and administrative center, specializing in high-quality wood, stone and abstract pattern decorative paper for customers in China and Southeast Asia.

History

1985: Walter Schattor founds the Schattdecor company in the town of Stephanskirchen in Ziegelberg, Upper Bavaria.

1989: Establishment of a new production company in the town of Rohrdorf (Nest 1).

1993: The first step towards the establishment of a factory abroad. Maltaprint, a Polish decorative paper printing plant, was established as a joint venture to lay the foundation for international expansion.

1995: Entry into the Italian market. Takeover of the Cartiere Sottrici Binda decorative paper printing business in Milan.

1997: Establishment of a new production company in Rosat, Italy.

1998: Acquisition of a stake in Arcolor, a pigment manufacturer in Waldstatt, Switzerland.

2001: Establishment of a branch office in Shanghai, China.

2002: Establishment of a joint venture Pansar Decoration Materials Co., Ltd. in Pansar, Russia for the production of decorative paper products; Established a new production site in Pudong, Shanghai. Rotos Maschinenbau AG is founded as a subsidiary of the Schattdecor Group of Companies in Bad Sahl Zovren.

2003: Acquisition of Pertec, a paint paper manufacturer in Embu, Brazil.

2010: Since the beginning of the year, the Schattor Group has grown from the economic crisis to celebrate its 25th anniversary on April 26. In addition, in April, the company opened a new sales agency in Greece; In May, he received the Digital Print Design Award from top designer Karim Rashid.
New investments in the United States and Turkey are on schedule. In July of this year, Waltersthad received the Bavarian Value Award from Bavarian Governor Horst Seehofer.

The Russian branch celebrated its 10th anniversary in October of that year. On December 3, 2010, Schattdecor produced its first roll of decorative paper at its Turkish subsidiary in Gebze/Istanbul.

At the annual meeting, Mr. Schultz, President of the Group, announced the results of the employee satisfaction survey conducted in Tanchao, and the results of the employee satisfaction recall were satisfactory, but of course, there are areas for improvement.

With the retirement of Sales Director Hartwig Dickten and the new appointment of Sales Marketing Director Roland Auer, the year ended with annual sales of 440 million euros.

2011: In this new year, a new paint line is put into operation at the Gluise plant in Poland, so Schattdecor can now show the world the most powerful production of pre-impregnated decorative paper. In addition, a new plant in St. Louis, USA, was started at the beginning of the year. In the spring of this year, at the production site in Tyumen, Russia, Schattor invested in another impregnation line.

For the first time, Schattdecor presented its latest digitalVisions by Schattdecor products at Euroshop and Interzum. The Interzum trade fair in Cologne was another great success, with Schattdecor presenting a future-oriented décor décor with its latest 3D imaging technology. Inauguration ceremonies were held in Istanbul, Turkey, and St. Louis, USA. In autumn, the ZOW exhibition in Istanbul, the Sicam exhibition in Italy and the Mebel exhibition in Moscow were successfully held.
