HBA was founded in 1964 by Howard Hirsch and takes its name from the initials of two hotel designers and founders, Howard Hirsch and Michael Bedner. Headquartered in Los Angeles, HBA has 24 subsidiaries and 6 representative offices worldwide in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Chinese mainland, India, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Turkey and other countries and regions. As of the end of September 2017, HBA had a total of 1,500 employees. After nearly 50 years of development, HBA has long-term good cooperative relations with Four Seasons, Marriott, Hyatt, InterContinental, Starwood, Hilton, Shangri-La, Kempinski, Accor and other international hotel management groups, providing interior design services for its brand hotels, and has completed more than 1,000 domestic and foreign five-star hotel projects since its establishment.
