The history of Amori Richle

As early as 1903, Aimo produced the world's first liquid ring vacuum pump; Just three years later, the smaller Elmo vacuum pump was installed in Germany's first vacuum cleaner. The first side channel fan was introduced in 1963 and revolutionized the market for vacuum and pressure products. Elmo's approach is one of dedication, with a focus on designing and manufacturing high-quality machines and providing engineering support. At the turn of the millennium, after a spin-off from Siemens, Elmo and Nash Industries (our former competitor in the United States) merged to form nash_elmo.

Under the leadership of the resourceful Werner Rietschle, who founded his own company after World War II, Richschle quickly became a well-known supplier of small vacuum pumps and compressors, and made a name for itself with a strong focus on customer service, flexibility and innovation. In 2002, the company was acquired by Thomas Industries and became Rietschle Thomas. At that time, it had established an extensive network of production plants and sales offices around the world. The company vigorously develops after-sales service and supports customers with tens of thousands of Lichle products.
