The company was restructured from the original Wuhu Port and officially listed in March 2003. In December 2010, Huainan Mining Group strategically reorganized Wuhu Port, and Huainan Mining Group became the controlling shareholder of the company. In 2011, Wanjiang Logistics was listed as the first batch of national coal emergency reserve points by the National Development and Reform Commission.
