In 1976, Dick and Pete Dreissigacker, fresh from their Olympic training, started their career as compound paddle builders in a van. Since then, Concept2 has become the choice of paddlers around the world and continues to innovate to this day.

In 1981, Dick and Pete designed the Concept2 indoor rower, which quickly became the best-selling rowing machine in the world. Since then, they have launched several new products, and today the Concept2 has become a daily workout for Olympic athletes, cardiac rehabilitation patients, home fitness enthusiasts, and paddlers of all levels

We went through an early growth phase, and now, our products include paddles, indoor rowers, and SkiErg.
