Jilin China Resources Heshantang Ginseng Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Resources Heshantang") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Resources Sanjiu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a large state-controlled listed pharmaceutical company, formerly known as Jilin Hongjiu Heshantang Ginseng Co., Ltd. Founded in 1998, the company entered China Resources Sanjiu on August 18, 2014, and changed its name to "Jilin China Resources Heshantang Ginseng Co., Ltd." on January 23, 2015.

The company covers an area of 40,216 square meters, with a construction area of 15,692.8 square meters, and has a ginseng GAP planting base, a GMP workshop for traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, a food production workshop, and a health food GMP workshop.
Over the years, CR Heshantang has focused on the development of the ginseng industry and has obtained a number of qualifications and honors. In 2007 and 2012, the standardized ginseng planting base passed the GAP certification of the State Food and Drug Administration for the second time; In 2008, it was awarded the first "authentic high-quality medicinal material planting base" by the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine; In 2010, it was awarded the "Changbai Mountain Ginseng" business standard certificate issued by Jilin Provincial Ginseng Association; In 2010, it was audited and identified as the first batch of pilot enterprises for artificial ginseng in Jilin Province; In 2011, it was approved by the Jilin Provincial Agricultural Committee as a demonstration base for ginseng planting and production; In 2014, the first workshop of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces passed the new version of CFDA GMP certification, and the second workshop of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces passed the new version of CFDA GMP certification in 2015.
