The Stora Enso Group is a leading global supplier of renewable solutions for the packaging, biomass materials, timber structures and paper industries. Stora Enso in China
Stora Enso entered the Chinese market in 1985 and currently employs around 5,200 people in China and is headquartered in Shanghai. The current operating units in China include Suzhou Zixing Paper Co., Ltd. with an annual production capacity of 245,000 tonnes of high-grade coated paper, Shandong Stora Enso Huatai Paper Co., Ltd. with an annual production capacity of 170,000 tonnes of super calendered paper, Stora Enso Zhengyuan Packaging Co., Ltd., which provides integrated packaging solutions (with packaging and labelling factories in Qian'an, Dongguan and Jiashan, and design centers in Beijing, Dongguan and Jiashan), as well as sales offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The Group has invested in the construction of a forestry, pulp and paper integration project in Guangxi, and will first build a high-end civil cardboard machine production line, which is scheduled to be put into operation in the first half of 2016.
