Shenyang No. 1 Machine Tool Factory was founded in 1935. Over the past 60 years, after continuous technological transformation and technological innovation, it has now become the largest comprehensive machine tool manufacturing plant in China and a national CNC machine tool development and manufacturing base. Since the factory was put into operation, it has provided nearly 300,000 sets of metal cutting equipment for the domestic and foreign manufacturing industries, and is known for its excellent quality.
In 1997, the factory in the "Ninth Five-Year Key Science and Technology Breakthrough" CNC machine tool industrialization project bidding, the first place, won the bid, became a national key CNC machine tool production base, the same year the factory production of CAK series CNC machine tools by the Ministry of Machinery Industry as a famous brand product in the machinery industry. The factory has now completed the transition from ordinary lathes as the leading products to CNC lathes as the leading products, and the output value of CNC products accounts for more than 60% of the total annual output value.
Since 2000, the economic scale of enterprises has achieved rapid growth for seven consecutive years. Sales revenue increased by 11 times, and machine tool output increased by 11 times. Medium and high-end CNC machine tools have entered the core manufacturing field of national key industries in batches, and CNC machine tools provided for automobile, national defense and military industry, aerospace and other industries have accounted for more than 70% of the total sales of CNC machine tools; The company has the ability to provide complete sets of technical equipment for national key projects, and provides 4 track beam processing production lines for the Shanghai maglev train project, marking that the R&D and manufacturing capabilities of Shenyang Machine Tool in this field have reached the international advanced level; It successfully provided four engine block and cylinder head production lines for Chery Automobile, marking the first batch entry of domestic high-end CNC machine tools into the core manufacturing field of auto parts, thus ending the monopoly of foreign manufacturers in this field.
