In order to increase investment and grow the business, Caterpillar (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was established in Beijing in March 1996. Today, Caterpillar has invested in 23 manufacturing facilities in China to manufacture hydraulic excavators, compactors, diesel engines, track running gear, castings, power graders, track dozers, wheel loaders, remanufactured construction machinery parts and power generator sets.
