Camellia oleifera
Camellia oleifera is one of the classic breakfasts in western China, and there are Camellia oleifera in the southwest and northwest, but although it is also called Camellia oleifera, the ingredients and taste are not the same. Southwest Camellia oleifera is based on rice, divided into steamed dumplings and rice cereal, which taste fresh and spicy and greasy, while Southwest Camellia oleifera is based on flour, which is fried and then added to rapeseed oil or butter to boil into a paste. After the finished product, Xi'an oil tea is light gray, quite like cement slurry, the taste is salty, fresh and fragrant, and the entrance is extremely smooth. Xi'an people will use twist flowers with oil tea, and soak it in oil tea until it is soft and tough, which not only solves the single feeling of drinking flour paste, but also enhances the feeling of satiety.
Unlike the other snacks on the list, camellia is almost exclusively found in the morning breakfast shop, and diners usually have to get up early in the morning to eat it.
