The Old Days of the Church - Institutional Reviews

Retro and old decoration is not new in the Wuhan homestay industry, and most of them are based on the architecture of the Republic of China. The hall has collected many old objects to restore the residential style of the seventies and eighties of the last century, both in terms of the overall style and the details of the decoration are quite realistic, and few B&Bs have done so thoroughly in the nostalgic design.

Most of the homestays are founded and operated by young people, and the owner of the house, Lin Fubin, is over 60 years old and has always had a hobby of collecting old objects. The main structure of the hall is made of wooden building materials, red bricks, mud walls and wooden lattice windows, all of which are deliberately old, mottled and simple, resembling a dwelling from decades ago. In terms of details, the building is decorated with various old objects. Bamboo tables, rocking chairs, wooden bird cages, etc., are placed in the courtyard, and the pictures of residents chatting and walking birds in the old days are revealed. In the hall, there are pedal pianos, sewing machines, old wooden boxes, radios, kerosene lamps and other objects, all of which are real old items collected by the homeowner. Small items such as thermoses, enamel basins, and hand-cranked telephones are scattered throughout the rooms, allowing guests to observe, touch and touch the old life.

The hall covers an area of more than 3,000 square meters, with a total of 58 guest rooms, which are divided into Tianzi room, earth character room, herringbone room, and study room, with an area of 20 square meters to 55 square meters. Each room is equipped with heating, a TV, basic amenities, and karaoke equipment. The rooms are old, but the health is good, and there are no problems such as aging facilities, and the overall accommodation conditions are good.

In fact, the hall is located in the Simen business district of Jiefang Road, Wuchang District, surrounded by bustling and lively, less than 3 kilometers away from Wuhan's famous scenic spots such as Yellow Crane Tower and Hubu Lane, with convenient transportation. The unique design and convenient location of the building attracted many local residents and tourists, with the elderly reminiscing about their old lives and the younger people taking group photos.
